Elisabeth Boylan: Artist, Illustrator and Designer
With a studio based in Vieux Québec, Elisabeth is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans, illustration, game art, graphic design, painting, and story.
Raised in Montréal and studying abroad in Lille, France, an affinity for fine art, beautiful design and architecture was cultivated throughout her childhood and adolescence. She attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2009, she pursued entrepreneurial ambitions in mobile apps and games, finding success in independent projects built with Unity game engine and collaborating as a UI/UX and graphic design consultant on various custom iPhone applications.
As an illustrator, drawing inspiration from nature, costume design, and architecture, her work combines influences of Nouveau Cirque and the Art Deco masters. She is currently developing her archive of drawings and illustrations into oil paintings while exploring new influences and techniques.
In 2024, she resumed full-time visual art and architecture studies at Université Laval. She is the cover illustrator for the new title Thorns Of Piety, a debut novella published under her pen name E.G. Boylan. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor sports: swimming, hiking, ice skating, and snowboarding.
